How to Create Candle Holder

We all have small food jars that we don't need any more and we put into our bins, why not try to do something creative with them.
Here's one of the ideas - Candle Holder.

You will need:
1 small clear jar
window pictures paints
plastic sheet/pocket
blank white sheet
ribbon
tealight candle

1. First use your white sheet to draw your design that you want to use. I just made few flowers.
2. Put over the white sheet your plastic pocket and using window colour black outliner trace your design.
3. Leave it to dry for around 2 hours

4. Fill in the spaces with colours that you choose using window colours paint

5. Leave it for up to 24 hours to dry.

6. Get ready your glass jar

7. Gently peel off the picture that you just created and stick it onto glass jar.

8. Add ribbon, if you wish

9. Place tealight candle in your new candle holder and you done

My new Button - before and after

One of the evenings I was playing with my photos, I was editing them in different ways, just experimenting , checking different ideas. When I finished with this photo below I thought that would make a great button for my photo challenge - FLOWERS ON SATURDAY. It was taken some time ago with my old/simple camera- HP photosmart

BEFORE

I don't have photoshop, I'm still trying to save for it. After buying my Nikon there is pretty much nothing left of my savings; So in this case I used Microsoft office picture manager, simple but I think it works.

Smiles and laughter of Three Cousins - RAW(e)

My daughter loves visiting her cousins, they always have such great time together. Lots of laughter and smiles. The only thing is I wish we lived closer, because of the "big" water and so many miles apart, it seem like we don't visit each other enough.

So here's my entry ( first photo) for today's RAW(e), I would love to edit these two photos , but the rules are no editing, so I am a good girl as always and I didn't edit it, the only thing I added my name and resized it.

A little bit of yellow on Monday

So it's Monday again, start of the week and time for Mellow Yellow Monday and Macro Monday. It's great that I can put that photo up, it will brighten my day a little bit as it is a bit gray here at the moment with all these clouds and rain around.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday - wish/dream, clean, currency, pair, squere

1. Wish/dream - I think each of us wishes that one day will win the lottery, it would be nice, here's my ticket for last night, I still have to check it, I might be the one:)

2. Clean - remember to wash your hands :)

3. Currency - some of the countries in Europe use Euro currency, one of the things about it is that
each country has different logos on one side of the coin, so you can actually collect them, pretty cool idea, the logo with Harp is used in Ireland

4. Pair - earrings in my favourite colour

5. Square - the girls attempt to make square
