Did you try Filker yet?

What is a Fliker? It's a new fascination on my street where I live, most of the kids have it , small and big, and to tell you something more, I would love to go out myself out there and use it as well, only did it in my back garden.
Fliker is a free style rider. It's a scooter but has 3 wheels. The wheels at the back are made to swing freely. If you want to go forward you have to move your body from side to side, move your hips- great exercise, I am sure that if you used it for a while it would firm your buttocks :)))
It's great fun for everyone who will use it

What would you do if you won ....

I purchased my ticket yesterday for euro millions for tonight's draw, so I still have to wait a bit to see if I won. It would be so great, but I would say all of us think like that, and then we start to dream what would we do with all that price money..... oh, it would be so nice.
So what would you do if you won a million? It seems like a lot, but is it, so I would first pay off my loans- who hasn't got them, then buy my dream house, or start building one. Share some winnings with my family and give some to charity. Then invest some, for instance starting small business that will grow biggg....money will make money, buy a car, go travelling the world -there is many places I want to see. Well, If I start writing down, all the things I would like to do with that million, it wouldn't last for too long. But it so good to have dreams, without dreams we are nothing.

Sunday afternoon

It was a gorgeous Sunday today. What a weather. It is really summer here( hopefully it will last ). The sky was blue for the whole day, not a cloud in sight.Light breeze, oh, I wish all days were like that. The good thing I don't go to work on Sundays, I can just relax, do nothing or as less as possible, that's what's Sundays are for. Well, I had to do one thing-go shopping-there was nothing in the fridge :( But when I came back from , the only thing on my mind was take out the blanket, a book and go outside and enjoy the rest of a lovely sunny day, so I wished. One of my neighbours decided to have a disco or something, they had a music so loud, and the kind of music, that's OK when you want to move your body on the disco floor after few drinks. Great, my quiet day outside wasn't gonna happen , I thought. I made myself a nice cold drink, took my things out and ...the music stopped. Yippee. So for the next few hours I enjoyed reading my book without any of that "excellent" music.

In the photos-flowers from my garden -however my next weekend project is my garden.

Irish Weather

I live in Ireland for almost 11 years now and I still can't get used to the weather conditions in this part of the world. The weather here is a bit different from where I come from. I would say there is only two seasons: Spring and Autumn. Some would say - great, no winter, no snow, no freezing temperatures, however every season has it's beautiful moments, and it's good to see and feel it all, you appreciate it more then. The Green island is green most of time, that because it rains a lot here :))) OK, maybe I exaggerate a little bit, but you should always have your umbrella with you if you going out. You look outside and there it is: a lovely sunshine, blue sky, you think great day, unfortunately it's changing very quickly, the wind comes, then the rain and that's it, that's the nice day gone. Oh, my, I sound almost like an Irish person. People here , they love talking about weather, and what even more complain about it. If it is wind- it's too windy, if it rains- rain again, will it ever stop, even if it is a lovely warm sunny day- it is too warm. I think over the years I started to do the same:talk about the weather and complain about it, apart from the summery days- when we get them. So hurry up Summer I need my dose of sunshine.

Once upon a time

Once upon a time there was a girl named Ewa, she packed her bags and left her home country to start her new adventure.
OK, that was like 11 years ago and the adventure didn't really take her where she wanted to go, but brought her to green island called Ireland.
Most of a great stories start more or less like that, mine is a bit different, I came over to Ireland and for the first few years I've only seen few places, I had no time, or just couldn't find any to go exploring new sites. You know how it is : home , work, home...
But few years ago I decided that enough is enough and there is more to life than just sitting at home at the weekend. Weekends are for adventure. So I try now to go and see many interesting places and there is so many of them here in Ireland that it will take me a long time to see everything...
